The Secret Place Collection …the
Chronicle
MISSING PIECES
The secret place
collection came together as a result of a dream I had.
I dreamed I was
taking inventory of myself, I found myself frantically running around.
Somehow, I realized parts of me were missing and I didn’t know where all of
me was. I awoke suddenly, but asked the Lord to allow me to go back into
the dream. I went back to sleep and the dream resumed. I was still
frantic ...I said, “Oh Lord, I don’t know where I left the parts of me.
I need them but I cannot find them”.
God said, “I know
where the missing parts are. You have been using your intellect and
energy to find them. You will no longer succeed, now I will begin to
gather them and bring them back. I will get the glory for it. I sent some
people in your life who were supposed to impart or teach you things, but
failed. Some people stripped you of your identity by their opinions.
Other parts you willingly gave up and some were stolen from you.
Nevertheless, there in The Secret Place, I will restore them all. I will
send others to come alongside you to help establish you those areas that
are lacking. Just remember they will be a means to an end. I am “The
Source” that will ultimately establish you; I will always remain strong
in the areas where you are weak … I AM what you need when you need
it”. ...End of dream
We run to and fro
looking for others to complete us. In seeking to receive something from
them, we end up leaving a part of us with them. The world’s method of
exchange is not like the divine exchange that is available with our
Father and Our Creator. I once read a book, “Do I have to give up being
me to be loved by you?” With God, the answer is no, “to give up being who
He created you to be” would grieve Him. We must learn how to give to
others without giving up a part of ourselves.
There are extremes
that some of us tend to embrace. Some become introspective …determined to
“fix” what they perceive is wrong with them. Others tend to resign
themselves to the thought that nothing will ever change. So the two
extremes remain broken and distracted …parked on the side of the road to
Destiny and watch Freedom pass them by.
One says, “I can or
I will”, the other says “I can’t or I won’t”. What do these two extremes
have in common? Both are using the word, “I”. Both are right and yet both
are wrong. They should get back on the road and go to The Secret Place,
it is not difficult to find. There resides the One who has the directions
the intersections of Freedom and Destiny.
When you find
yourself stalled on the side of the road, may these renderings remind you
that your answers are in The Secret Place. You were never meant to find
completion by looking to yourself or others. There in the Secret Place,
He unfolds your life. He is the ultimate Tentmaker; not only does He make
your tent beautiful, he comes to dwell there with you. You were not a
mistake! Remember, nothing you have ever done has taken Him by surprise,
all your days are written in His “Book”. |
