Rewriting
May 11, 1997 Saturday night
Last night I had a
dream; I woke up and went back into the dream two or three
times. Though I did not see Him, I knew the Lord was in
the dream. We were observing the manifested actions of
someone. At the time, I didn’t know if it was an
individual, group, or perhaps the church. I had stumbled
upon factual account of “Peoples’” actions. A number of
pages had already been recorded in the book and new ones
were being added. As the new accounts were being written
somehow simultaneously, one or two of the previous
paragraphs were disappearing and being re-written.
At the same time I was also observing a second story being
played out, it was the life of the same person, or group.
I saw the “beginning to the end”. It was totally different
from the one written and being re-written in the book. In
the dream I was aware that I was a writer, I remember
saying to the Lord, "oh please let’s go ahead and rewrite
the whole story now!” He said "oh no, their book is being
rewritten as they press into me and what I have for
them”.... end of the dream. That Sunday morning, as
my pastor preached, the dream replayed before my eyes more clearly and
distinctly during the sermon. The Holy Spirit revealed to me that the
Lord and I were seeing the people as they were walking out their destiny IN the realm of TIME. The other story was in the spiritual
realm OUTSIDE of TIME –He had allowed me to see the story as it was
in His heart from before the foundation of the world. I was seeing the
desire of His heart. The one in His heart was not on paper, but like a
video playing a movie with lots of different story lines, plots, and
characters. I was becoming frustrated with the process of ‘them walking
their part of the story out’. Being a writer, knowing how the story was
going to end, and “waiting, waiting, waiting “to see the final draft was
really getting to me.
He said, "What you are
seeing here in my heart is the result of the words I spoke out into the
atmosphere before the foundations of the earth and they are a sure
foundation. They are written on the table of my heart. My people have
taken some detours from the steps or paths I ordered/established for
them; some have even fallen down. Their times of detours and falling down
have caused some problems which some of them focus on too much”. He said,
“I am not moved by what I see written on that paper. If only they could
see what I see. You see the story being rewritten as they are getting up
and getting back on course in the steps I established. I promised that
restoration. By the time they get to their destination the story will be
completely rewritten and it will read just the way you saw it outside of
time.

wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; that I know very well. My
frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes beheld my
unformed substance. In your book were written all the days that were
formed for me, when none of them as yet existed. How weighty to me are
your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! I try to count
them--they are more than the sand; I come to the end--I am still with
you.

(Psa 37:23 NIV) If the LORD delights in a man's way, he makes
his steps firm;
(Psa 37:24 NIV) though he
stumbles, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand. Our
steps are made firm by the LORD, when he delights in our way; though we
stumble, we shall not fall headlong, for the LORD holds us by the hand.
(Isa 46:9-11 NIV) Remember the
former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am
God, and there is none like me. I make known the end from the beginning,
from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand,
and I will do all that I please. From the east, I summon a bird of prey;
from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that
will I bring about; what I have planned, that will I do.
(Eph 1:4 NIV) For he chose us in him before the creation of
the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined
us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his
pleasure and will--According as he has chosen us in him before the
foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before
him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by
Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.
Psa 23:3 NIV)
he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his
name's sake.
(Acts 3:20 NIV) and that he
may send the Christ, who has been appointed for you--even Jesus. He must
remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything, as
he promised long ago through his holy prophets.
Isa 58:12 And they that shall
be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shall raise up the
foundations of many generations; and thou shall be called, The repairer
of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in. (and being recipients
of restoration they shall become facilitators of the restoration)

2:21-29 Fear not, O land; be
glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things. Be not afraid, you
beasts of the field: (PROBLEMS) for the pastures of the wilderness do
spring, for the tree bears her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield

will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter

in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God
that has dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be
ashamed. And you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I
am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be
ashamed. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my
spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And
also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour
out my spirit.
