Open Doors of Revelation
Early July, 2005 while preparing to go the
End-Time Handmaiden’s Conference, I had a dream. All I saw
were Open Doors with clouds and glory surrounding them. I
knew that the dream and the piece would unfold before me
as I yielded myself to do it. Indeed it did. I could feel
so much more than I saw in the dream. Although I saw
double doors, I knew that Revelation 4 influenced it so I
began there. Even after it was finished there is so much
more revelation in it than is written here.
Rev 4:1 AFTER THIS I looked,
and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first
voice which I had heard addressing me like [the calling
of] a war trumpet said, Come up here, and I will show you
what must take place in the future. … Rev 4:7 7 The first
living creature (being) was like a lion, the second living
creature like an ox, the third living creature had the
face of a man, and the fourth living creature [was] like a
flying eagle.8 And the four living
creatures, individually having six wings, were full of
eyes AMP [Ezek 1:10.] AM P Rev 4:8
Revelation 4
says John looked up and saw the door and heard a voice
saying, Come up here”. Among many things that he saw, it
says that he saw 4 beasts –the lion, the ox, the face of a
man and an eagle. I pictured this as high revelation, but
as I tried to place the beasts at the top of the stairs, I
could sense the Lord saying that in these days the
revelation He would release would be greater than that
John, the Revelator experienced. The statement about the
“eyes” jumped up off the page. I was moved to include
seven sets of eyes. Until this writing, I did not realize
later in Revelation 5:6 it speaks of seven eyes, which are
the seven spirits of God. Actually, I was thinking of
Isaiah 11:2 when I used the partial face of Jesus (with
the focus on the eyes)
Isa 11:2 And the Spirit of
the Lord shall rest upon Him--the Spirit of wisdom and
understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit
of knowledge and of the reverential and obedient fear of
the Lord-- AMP
Rev 5:6 And I beheld, and,
lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and
in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been
slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the
seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. KJV
As I worked on
the doors, I felt the influence of heavy doors or gates
like those in Isa 45:1 …gates that no man could shut.
Gates to cities, regions, and nations are represented
here.
Isa 45:1 Thus saith the LORD
to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden,
to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins
of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the
gates shall not be shut; KJV
Of necessity,
it seemed the setting must feel strong and powerful –from
the majestic columns to the lightning's and glory coming
down from the upper heavens including the hand holding
forth the large gold keys. I had been studying the key of
David in Isa 22, which is a messianic prophecy and
cross-references to the Greek rendering of the Key of
David as “the keys to the Kingdom”. These keys are
multifaceted …opening the door of faith, knowledge and
revelation. They represent higher realms of authority and
are the type that would be required to open the gates
mentioned earlier.
The timing of
the dream was a now word. The Lord indicated He would be
releasing keys and that major doors of revelation would
begin to open to certain believers’ worldwide beginning in
July. Those with the characteristics of Eliakim are the
ones who will receive the keys and walk through open doors
of not only revelation, but also the doors to their
destiny.
We find many
types and shadows of Jesus in the OT. David, Joseph, Moses
and others with whom we are familiar. Less known was
Eliakim who was not only a type of Christ but was in His
lineage. Eliakim was faithful and diligent in his lower
status; he was promoted to a higher position. He did not
speak undermine Shebna nor did he usurp authority or vie
for the position that was higher than the one he had. He
allowed his gifts and talents to make room for Him.
In this
new position, he acted in the King’s behalf thus having
access to all the provision of the kingdom. When the King
gives you authority, you can depend on Him to furnish you
with all the necessities to advance His Kingdom.
May
the Doors of Revelation open to you in the might and power
that is carried within this piece |
