My Storehouses …The
Endtime Collection
…Chronicle by Glenda Wilson
This rendering was
inspired by a word sent by email from Chuck Pierce – I
have included an excerpt below.
June
26, 2005 –Chuck Pierce –“This
is the also the time that a new level of supply begins to
be unlocked. Watch for new provisional strategies in the
earth realm. He is "preparing us for the suddenlies”.
Suddenlies usually occur and overwhelm us when we least
expect something is about to happen. To prepare means to
"build a form for something, like a frame for a house”. If
we develop a frame of reference for an enlarged
storehouse, the Lord will bring the infilling.”
With the story of Joseph so
ingrained in my spirit, when I hear of storehouses, I
always think of his story. Since I am a visual person and
artist –a frame of reference for me is a picture.
Immediately I began to envision the granaries that were in
Egypt in the time of Joseph and the famine. How large
those storehouses must have been to be able to send
provision to the nations.
In this current hour, we
find a famine in the land in both the natural and the
spiritual. Since we realize all things result form the
spiritual realm, we must realize that the famine is not
from a lack of water and food but one for a lack of the
word. Remembering that the Bible translators voted to
render the scripture in the causative – Amos’s statement
says that God was sending the famine. Knowing that God is
a good God, I believe that He allowed the famine and
determined to use it to turn those that would be His
toward Himself.
Amos
8:11-12 Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord God,
when I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of
bread, nor a thirst for water, but [a famine] for hearing
the words of the Lord. And [the people] shall wander from
sea to sea and from the north even to the east; they shall
run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord [inquiring for
and requiring it as one requires food], but shall not find
it. AMP
Jesus was tempted by the
devil to turn stones into bread, but His reply was, "It is
written, 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every
word that proceeds out of the mouth of God'" (Matthew
4:4).
The purpose of Joseph’s
testing was to develop character, to mature his vision and
ready him to provide the nations with grain (the
equivalent of “The Bread of Life”). God entrusted Joseph
with the task of preserving the lineage that would bring
forth the ultimate “Bread of Life”, Jesus the Christ. I am
always moved by the maturity of Joseph’s reaction and
revelation he shared with his brothers who betrayed him.
Gen
45:7 7 God sent me before you to preserve for you a
posterity and to continue a remnant on the earth, to save
your lives by a great escape and save for you many
survivors. AMP
We to must come to the
realization, as did Joseph that we too have been sent. We
must position ourselves in character and maturity to
disburse the wealth that is about to be released into our
hands. We must spiritually prepare a frame of reference
for larger storehouses. What would have happened had the
Egyptians not had the foresight to build large granaries
–granaries that they thought would be to hoard provision,
but was ultimately for God’s purpose?
Where are we in the
process? Are we building storehouses for our purpose or
for His? Where is our treasure laid up …for where our
treasure is, there also is our heart. Everything always
reverts to the heart and motive. |
